Day 24/ St Kilda Festival!

Delano is so sick, he said he felt the flu coming on last night and now he has a headache & coughing and stuff.
I went and bought him some Parabol (the aussie version of anvil or whatever) and he says it's going good.

I'm still going to go out to st. kilda, mostly to see the swing dancing but of course I'll stick around and chill with everyone too.

In the end, I missed the swing dancing. Ha! I was late leaving and then the tram took for fucking ever to get there.

Saw a few street performer type people, couple of arco-balance guys.

I walked about for a bit, saw some sort of Hari Krishna thing. Listened to some girl play the guitar & sing. She was alright, little too operatic for my taste.

Walked back along the esplanade and ran into James & Frances, who were with their friends Lulu and Kiren I think? I really have no idea. Definitely started with a K or hard C.

We met up with a bunch of friends of theirs, the only one who stayed with us the whole time was Lily.

We went and saw some band play they I've either forgotten the name of or never knew, but they were so good. Super good to dance to anyway.

frances is unsure of this.

lily!

walked around a little and saw The Medics play, they had so much energy! Good band, I didn't fall in love with their music but certainly liked them.

The Medics!

Went and listened to the last song by Paris Wells, who seemed soooo good. She reminded me of early No Doubt. Like from No Doubt or Tragic Kingdom. My kind of music!

Then we walked and saw The Transatlantics, who were awesome awesome awesome. We danced like crazy and they were sweet. We danced like crazy and just let loose. ha.

The Transatlantics. (James took all these)

Then we went and saw some reggae band, the Red somethings I think? We were far from the stage so we just chilled and talked and had them as background music.

me and frances! <3

We grabbed some ice cream when I realized I hadn't eaten in over 24 hours and was shaking. But I'd forgotten my retainer case this morning, so I didn't want to take it out. In the end I did, but I am OK holding it while eating ice cream since that takes about 45 seconds.

Tried to see the Stone Fields, but they were at a weird stage and we couldn't really see them. It's four sisters, the youngest of whom looked about 10. The drummer also sang and they were badasses. We heard them sing Whole Lotta Love by Led Zepplin and an original song in the same vain.

I started to walk back since everyone else was going to grab dinner and I wanted to get back so I could eat something real.

Stood next to some obnoxious 20 somethings on he tram back, kind of wanted to kill them all.

Got back, ate the rest of my bread since I didn't want to go out for chinese or pizza.

Taked to these nice Australia guys, who're doing a little traveling in their own country before Isaac comes to the US & maybe Canada in April, I think he said.

Delano & I are going to watch Robin Hood and then I'm going to bed since I have a nastily feeling I might be coming down with his cold. Fuck.
