Since I will no longer own my mobile phone in 2 days I figured it was time to clear out all the inane photos I snap with it and then I thought I better make a blog post with the ones from the past few months.
The first 4 or 5 months I was here I was pretty good about clearing it off and actually posting photos in a timely manner, but then I just ignored it for a while!
Here you go, they're in chronological order.

I used to spend a lot of time in schools.

Hope you all have a good day and a pleasant tomorrow!
It's funny, I was walking around Shibuya tonight (not a single decent photo came from the evening, though I really wasn't prepared.) and I was thinking about how even though I've been here for a short time how much more japanese my style is.
There's so many 'cute' things here, it's infectious. I mean, grown men in business suits can have fluffy phone charms and rock and roll people still have hello kitty merch. It's not looked down upon at all, it doesn't make you a princess, it's just a way of being.
A few weeks ago I bought a pink dress that I'd have laughed at before I moved here and this evening I got a necklace that is insanely girly, so so much more than I'd have ever been comfortable wearing in the West.
In fact, here it is. And I'm obsessed!
Not much of a point in this post, just something I noticed tonight.
I don't scoff at pink and bows and adorable things here, the way I absolutely did at home.
I'll be sort of interested to see if I continue dressing like this once I'm home, or if it'll suddenly seem far too doll like and I'll never wear any of it again.
Speaking of my new pink dress, I was actually wearing it today when I made my Q&A video with questions from my Tumblr followers. Please enjoy some HD Signe.
I'm planning on making a video everyday for a week as a bit of a personal challenge, so look forward to heaps more of me!

Started watching Torchwood yesterday, which is a spin off of Doctor Who starring one of the best DW characters, Captain Jack Harkness, and his alien fighting team based in Cardiff.
Because where the hell else would you be based?
Anyway, it's good.
Cool story, right?

Perhaps you've noticed but I'm trying to blog everyday for a week (at least!). I felt like I was falling down on the blog front, or just blogging about depressing things (you know, like depression) so it seemed time to reboot a little and post happy things daily. Since my life is good.
Incidentally, I'm feeling much much better. I had a bit of an epiphany about Japan/my life here and it was good. yay!
manic grin + celebratory wild eyes
Anyway!
This morning I worked, skyped with my family (I get to see them so soon!), showered, and made myself breakfast.
Went and met with Keiko and then from there went to Shibuya because I decided I wanted to walk from there to Takeshita Street (in Harajuku) via Cat Street. Sort of worked out? I found an awesome Comme des Garçons shirt for the equivalent of $7, went to an official Tin Tin shop, and just generally enjoyed a 4 hour wander. And while I did end up on Takeshita Street, it was not just at the end of Cat Street like I thought it would be. Possibly I got off too soon? I'm not sure.
I'm also not sure how many of these photos are great since it was dark and I didn't really have a good lens for the dark, but I did my best just so I could blog for y'all!
ooooooh, ice tea.
WC, one of the most fashion forward shops in the world. apparently.
nightmare rabbits
the person behind them
koala is mad at your cultural appropriation!

Now I'm enjoying some takeout food and the newest episode of Misfits.
(not so sure about this season so far. But I love Rudy deeply so I'm sure it'll be ok in the end.)
